Traffic awareness campaign
As part of the directives of Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) will launch an awareness campaign for campers from November 20 until the end of the camping season.
The awareness programme will cover ‘legal actions against wrong traffic practices such as over-speeding, driving without licence and driving bicycle without helmet’.
The campaign will also include a host of activities encouraging them to follow traffic rules to protect their lives and the safety of all road users.
