Joint labour inspection campaigns in full swing in Bahrain

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Ministry of Interior (MOI), and Social Insurance Organization (SIO) continue to intensify joint efforts to address any violations or practises to preserve the components of the labour market and ensure fairness, competitiveness, and stability.
LMRA announced the implementation of three joint inspection campaigns that resulted in the reporting of a number of violations related to the labour market and residency laws in Bahrain.
The violations were referred for legal action. It added that the first inspection campaign took place in coordination with the Nationality, Passport, and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and the Governorate’s respective Police Directorate in the Muharraq Governorate; the second campaign was undertaken with the Sentences Enforcement Directorate at the Ministry of Interior in the Capital Governorate; and the third campaign was conducted in coordination with the Social Insurance Organization (SIO) in the Northern Governorate.
