Bahrain to further develop programmes for its youth

A meeting was held between Bahrain and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to achieve common goals in supporting Bahraini youth.
Youth Affairs Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi received Firas Gharaibeh, the Acting Resident Representative of the UNDP, as they affirmed the importance of bilateral partnership and cooperation to implement initiatives for the youth.
The minister affirmed that the ministry is keen on continuously developing cooperation with UN organisations, in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, on enhancing partnerships with various sectors to develop Bahraini youth skills.
She reviewed the ministry’s programmes for youth in Bahrain and highlighted the results of joint programmes with the UN and their positive outcomes.
