BAC opens tender for airport queue management solution

Bahrain Airport Company is moving ahead with plans for a queue management system at Bahrain International Airport.
A tender launched for this purpose seeks bidders who could offer solutions that have been in service at an international airport.
BAC plans to integrate the solution with the Airport Operation Database for flight information, CCTV, or Wi-Fi Devices.
The Virtual Queue Management System allows airports to create separate queues and assign passengers to specific lanes based on their requirements. This ensures an efficient experience for passengers of all ages with fewer wait times.
Interested parties should bid for the project before August 13 with a BD500 bond valid for 180 days. The bids must include one-year support. The tender seeking a request for proposal is available for download at www.tenderboard.gob.bh.
