Kuwait Avenue, stretching from Salmaniya Avenue to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway, is set to undergo a transformative makeover, according to the Ministry of Works.
The ministry has outlined plans to rehabilitate the avenue in both directions, encompassing various essential works.
The comprehensive rehabilitation project includes asphalt overlay, the installation of concrete kerbs, and the installation of paving blocks.
To move forward with the project, the Ministry of Works has released a tender, inviting contractors with a valid Pre-qualification licence registered under Grades A, B, or C for Asphalt Works on the date of the tender issue.
Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their bids before August 9, along with a BD2,500 bond, valid for 180 days. This ambitious initiative aims to revitalise Kuwait Avenue, promising improved road conditions and enhanced safety for all users.
