Bahrain has reached very advanced levels in youth empowerment by involving them in the planning and implementation of many national programmes that contribute to shaping the future of the Kingom.
This was affirmed by Youth Affairs Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi as he attended a training workshop on career development, which was organised by Lamea Association.
Tawfiqi noted that empowering youth, training them, providing them with scientific and practical expertise, and investing in their energies represents an important element of Bahrain’s vision in youth.
She pointed out that the workshop covered valuable information that enriches the participants’ knowledge. The workshop included a number of topics, such as; career path management, methodologies and steps for building a self-development plan, and methods for setting future practical goals.
It highlighted the impact of subconscious beliefs and behaviours on career goals, and concluded with a discussion on skills required by the labour market.
