HRH Prince Salman calls for boosting Bahrain-US ties, hails role in regional security

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday hailed the active role played by the United States, along with other allied countries, in safeguarding regional security and stability.
During talks with top US Naval Commander at Riffa Palace, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Force and Prime Minister, also stressed the importance of continuing to consolidate international efforts in this direction.
HRH CP, PM and Vice Admiral Charles B. Cooper II further explored avenues to strengthen the bonds established through collaborative efforts and coordination at multiple levels, especially in the military and defence.
Vice Admiral Charles B. Cooper II is the Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command, Commander of the United States Fifth Fleet, and Commander of Combined Maritime Forces.
HRH emphasized the significance of further enhancing relations in various domains, particularly in the military and defence sectors, to fulfil the shared objectives and aspirations of both nations and their people.
The meeting explored avenues to strengthen the bonds established through collaborative efforts and coordination at multiple levels, especially in the military and defence.
Throughout the discussions, matters of mutual interest and the latest developments at regional and international levels were thoroughly examined. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki.
