Runaway maid in Bahrain denied right to work for another employer

A woman who allegedly left her previous employer has been denied the right to work for another employer.
The High Administrative Court upheld the Labour Market Regulatory Authority's (LMRA) decision to deny her visa transfer to a new sponsor, stating it is legally valid.
The woman sought redress after absconding from her former employer and seeking assistance from LMRA.
However, LMRA officials discovered a complaint filed against her by another family, claiming she had absconded from their employment.
The court confirmed that LMRA's decisions are made in the public interest and cannot be challenged unless there is clear evidence of abuse of power.
