Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has affirmed the strength of the historical ties that bind Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He highlighted the solid foundations of the bilateral relations reinforced by the distinguished strategic partnership, consensus of visions and joint coordination in various fields, thanks to the care and attention they receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalif and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Shaikh Salman noted the importance of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which is chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in strengthening cooperation and bilateral integration between the two countries.
This came during the third meeting of the Coordination Committee in the fields of economy, energy, trade and industry, which was held yesterday remotely, co-chaired by Shaikh Salman and Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Al Ibrahim.
It is one of the five committees emanating from the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council. They reviewed the most important developments in the implementation of the initiatives and recommendations that fall within the framework of the committee’s work.
The two sides were also briefed on the efforts of the work teams and what has been achieved in accordance with the goals set by the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which would enhance economic integration between the two brotherly countries.
