The event aims to train 2,740 Bahraini youth in different fields to prepare them for the workforce, and they can showcase their businesses to discover new opportunities. One of the most popular programmes at Youth City is the fashion design workshop.

Silwara Shweta, a 13-year-old who participated in the workshop, said: "It’s amazing to work with my friends and work on my passion. I got the opportunity to learn the basics of fashion design through practicals. I love this place."
Another popular programme at Youth City is the Media Zone. In this zone, young people learn how to develop presentation skills for television and stage drama, as well as how to speak in front of others.
Muhammad Zainal, a trainer at the Media Zone, said, "We had the highest participation on the first day, and we are proud to be volunteers in this great initiative." More than 50 Bahraini youth who want to become professional musicians in the future have participated in training sessions at Youth City, which were conducted by Noor Albasri.
She said, "We are teaching the basics of singing and playing instruments, as well as voice training, to improve their skills." Volunteers from the Bahrain Racing Club are also providing mechanical knowledge of high-speed remote-controlled cars at Youth City. Makes Althaqafi, a member of the Bahrain Racing Club, said: "We are ready to share the basic mechanical knowledge of high-speed remote control cars, as well as how to use different tools in everyday life."
