ICRF Thirst-Quenchers 2023 team holds 5th Summer Awareness Programme

The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) Thirst-Quenchers 2023 team held its fifth summer awareness programme, aiming to raise awareness about maintaining a healthy and safe summer season.
The event, part of an ongoing series, was conducted at a worksite in East Hidd, where the Thirst-Quenchers 2023 team distributed bottled water, juice packets, fruits, and biriyani to 240 labourers.
Ravishankar Shukla, Second Secretary at the Embassy of India, underscored the importance of staying hydrated and taking necessary precautions during the scorching summer.
This marks the 8th consecutive year of ICRF’s Thirst Quenchers initiative, where they distribute water and fruits to support the workforce in battling the heat.
The Bohra community, Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre, and Malabar Gold are supporting ICRF in this project this year. ICRF Thirst-Quenchers plans to continue organising weekly events at various work sites until the end of August.
