Strengthened GCC cooperation critical to peace, development: HRH CP, PM

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, called for intensifying efforts to further strengthen collaboration and integration among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

HRH also underscored that joint efforts are essential to fulfilling the aspirations of citizens and promoting global peace and development. These statements came during a meeting between HRH Prince Salman and Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, the Secretary General of the GCC, at Riffa Palace.

In their discussions, Prince Salman reaffirmed the significance of building upon the Council’s existing efforts in alignment with the ambitious goals and visions of GCC leaders.

His Royal Highness also extended his best wishes for success in AlBudaiwi’s endeavours. In response, AlBudaiwi expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness for his unwavering support of the enduring strategic partnership among the GCC member states.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, and other top officials.
