Bapco to open new gas station in Diyar

Bapco Retail Company, which operates a network of gas stations across the Kingdom, is currently in the stages of establishing another outlet in Diyar Al Muharraq.
As per Tender Board, the company has awarded a contract to RP Construction for the construction of a petrol station in Diyar for BD1,083,140.610.
RP emerged victorious competing against five other contenders, where their bids ranged from BHD 1,211,400.000 to BHD 1,323,164.092. The forthcoming service station will not only offer a selection of supplementary services but also accommodate convenience stores.
The tender documents outline that the station will house sales offices, a C-store building, a Drive-thru Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), a coffee shop, commercial shops, car care and car wash facilities, a dispenser shed (canopy), and other related services.
The contractual terms says that RP Construction has approximately seven months to complete the construction. Having ventured into the Refining Service station business in 2019, Bapco now commands a substantial 35% market share in this sector.
