Bahrain to bolster India ties and cooperation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, highlighted the depth of Bahraini-Indian longstanding relations, noting the importance of enhancing cooperation to benefit both countries and their people.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed that bilateral relations have continuously grown and developed, particularly in military and defence. His Royal Highness was speaking as he received yesterday the Republic of India’s Commander of the Western Fleet, Rear Admiral Vineet S. McCarty, and an accompanying delegation at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were also discussed. The National Security Advisor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Bahrain Defence Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, also attended the meeting.
