HRH Prince Salman names Education Ministry director

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (63) of 2023, appointing a director at the Ministry of Education, based on a proposal by the Minister of Education.

The edict stipulates that Dr. Shaikha Abdullah Mohammed Mafiz shall be appointed as Director of the Strategic Planning Directorate at the Ministry of Education.

HRH Prince Salman issued Edict (64) of 2023, appointing directors in the General Secretariat of the Higher Education Council (HEC), based on a proposal by the Minister of Education.

The edict stipulates the following:

Article (I):

The General Secretariat of the HEC shall appoint each of the following:

1. Dr. Zainab Ali Habib Al Touq, as Director of the Research and Policy Directorate.

2. Dr. Jihan Ali Ahmed Al Mannai, as Director of the Academic Services Directorate.

3. Dr. Hussein Mohsen Hamid Al Areedh, as Director of the Accreditation and Licensing Directorate.

HRH Prince Salman issued Edict (62) of 2023, appointing a director in the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, based on a proposal by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

The edict stipulates that Ali Amin Abdullah Al Rayes shall be appointed as Director of the Religious Affairs Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

His Royal Highness issued Edict (61) of 2023, transferring an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, based on a proposal by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

The edict stipulates that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, HE Muna Abbas Mahmood Radhi, shall be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

HRH Prince Salman issued Edict (65) of 2023, amending some provisions of Edict (66) of 2022, restructuring the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions, based on a proposal by the Minister of Works, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

The text of Clause 3 of Article (I) of Edict (66) of 2022 to restructure the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions shall be replaced with the following text: Eng. Bader Mohammad Al Mansoori (member).
