Telecom plan to aid service
Deputy King HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that Bahrain’s Fourth National Telecommunications Plan would provide a coherent and detailed strategy for delivering further improvements to the nation’s telecommunications sector, and continue improving the standard of services provided to consumers.
In a meeting with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) Group CEO Dr Khaled Hussain Biyari and VIVA Bahrain Chief Executive Alyan Al-Wateed, at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, Prince Salman highlighted the Kingdom’s achievements in attracting investment into the sector, and improving competiveness to drive up standards.
In this regard, the Deputy King highlighted the efforts by Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to open new market opportunities and boost cross-sector investments.
