Preparations progress for sixth Derasat Forum; Wyndham Grand Manama selected as accommodation partner

Preparations are on track for the sixth Derasat Forum, which is scheduled to take place from June 14th to 15th this year.

The Wyndham Grand Manama has been awarded the contract to accommodate participants of the forum.

This annual event aims to delve into the root causes of existing imbalances by fostering direct interactions between current leaders of think tanks and the next generation who will be looking to take over the reins in the coming decade.

Additionally, the forum will explore the impacts of the national initiatives led by the Supreme Council for Women in Bahrain towards women’s advancement and achieving gender balance, while exploring effective methods of realising more equitable outcomes for the sector.

The Tender Board has revealed that the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies selected Wyndham Grand Manama from a pool of five contenders, including DownTown Rotana Hotel, Tashyeed Hospitality, Vandik Bahrain Hotel Company, and Regency Hotel.

The awarded contract is valued at BD21,205.700 and encompasses provisions for two restaurants, luxury rooms, executive suites, airport transfers, luxury cars (non-SUV) with drivers, tables and chairs, VIP sofas, conference room facilities, and driver accommodations.
