Bahrain building diplomatic partnerships to achieve SDGs, tackle global issues

Bahrain is keen on exchanging expertise with other countries and discussing topics of common interest especially in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) and facing the challenges of climate change and food security.
The Kingdom is witnessing development and progress in various sectors, expressing pride in the growing achievements and successes of the kingdom in the field of human rights, which are recognised regionally and internationally, especially by international organisations and federations.
Shura Council Second Deputy Chairperson Dr. Jehad Abdullah Al Fadhel made the statements while receiving Luigi Di Maio, the newly appointed Special Representative of the European Union (EU) for the Gulf Region.
Dr. Al Fadhel stressed Barain’s keenness to consolidate diplomatic international relations that aim at supporting mutual interests.
