Bahrain TV founder mourned by Minister
Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi yesterday mourned the demise of veteran Bahraini media figure and one of the founders of Bahrain TV Abdulwahab Ata, who passed away yesterday.
Paying homage to the deceased, the Minister said Abdulwahab Ata was one of the founders of Bahrain TV many decades ago and an active contributor to the development of the media sector in Bahrain.
He stressed that the name of late Abdulwahab Ata would remain carved in the memory of the media personnel as one of the pioneers of TV work in Bahrain and the whole region.
The Information and Parliament Affairs Minister pointed out that the death of Abdulwahab Ata represented a great loss of a very competent and influential media icon who did a lot in transferring his experience to the young generation and enriching Bahrain’s media sector.
