Double efforts to bolster Bahrain economy with state-of-the-art infrastructure: HRH Prince Salman

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, emphasised the importance of doubling efforts to strengthen Bahrain’s economic sectors and their competitiveness through state-of-the-art infrastructure development.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that Bahrain’s national strategies, plans, and programmes meet current development needs and further efficiency, professionalism, and transparency across various workstreams.

He added that proactiveness and excellence are core drivers of the kingdom’s competitive environment.

HRH Prince Salman made the statements while visiting the Air Traffic Management Centre at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications yesterday.

The Deputy King highlighted the efforts of Bahraini citizens in advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness commended the Kingdom’s major development works that enhance its modern infrastructure and legislative development and will continue to bring future successes for the Kingdom.

Upon arrival, the Deputy King was received by the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, HE Mohamed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, and briefed on the modernization of air navigation systems to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and efficiency, in line with the Kingdom’s civil aviation sector development goals.

Aviation sector

His Royal Highness commended Team Bahrain’s efforts in furthering the Kingdom’s aviation sector, reiterating the importance of the Air Traffic Management Centre in supporting air traffic logistics and achieving the goals of the Economic Recovery Plan and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

Al Kaabi welcomed the Deputy King’s visit to the Air Traffic Management Centre and expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness for his continued support for the implementation of major development projects that enhance the Kingdom’s status and its comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

HE Al Kaabi highlighted that HRH the Deputy King’s visit reflects the government’s support in implementing wide-ranging aviation infrastructure projects.

HE Al Kaabi expressed the Ministry’s commitment to continue advancing the safety and efficiency of the Kingdom’s air navigation services in accordance with the standards and requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Several senior officials were also in attendance.
