It is important to continue building on the achievements of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) to maintain the pace of development and growth, stated newly appointed LMRA Chief Executive Officer Nibras Mohammed Talib.
"The LMRA is one of the main elements of the labour market reforms aimed at ensuring the rights of all parties in a regulated work environment to achieve social security and sustainable economic growth."
He made the statements while meeting with Nouf Abdulrahman Jamsheer, the outgoing LMRA CEO and new Undersecretary for Research and Projects in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
Talib, who assumes duties at LMRA, congratulated Jamsheer on obtaining the royal trust by appointing her to the new position at the PMO.
He praised Jamsheer’s efforts during her tenure in the LMRA, especially maintaining Bahrain’s Tier 1 status in the US Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report.
Jamsheer also congratulated Talib on obtaining the royal trust by appointing him as the CEO of LMRA and wished him success in performing his duties.
She expressed her pride in working with all the employees of the LMRA in the past period, noting the authority’s promising national competencies and its tangible role in developing the labour market.
