Use newest technologies to boost education system: Bahrain Deputy King

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, emphasised the importance of using the newest technologies and developing education policies with the latest methods to support the education system on par with global developments.

HRH Prince Salman directed Education Minister Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma to ensure public schools foster an educational environment that encourages students to advance and excel.

HRH the Deputy King was speaking as he met yesterday with Dr Juma at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of advancing the Kingdom’s education system by fostering a creative and innovative educational environment that enables citizens to contribute to the wide-ranging development.

He emphasised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s ongoing support for the Kingdom’s education sector. HRH the Deputy King directed for the introduction of a parent induction day to be held across public schools to brief guardians on the new academic year.

HRH Prince Salman concluded by wishing students, academic, and administrative bodies from all institutions and educational levels a successful new academic year. Dr Juma expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and highlighted his commitment to furthering the education sector.

He added that HRH the Deputy King’s support motivates the Ministry’s employees to double efforts to advance the education sector and serve the ahraini citizens. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
