Ports Directorate receives global award for airport services quality

The Ports, Search, and Follow-Up Directorate won first place in the airport services quality reports by Airports Council International (ACI) for fast inspection of passports and facilitation of travel procedures in the second quarter of 2023.
Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), congratulated the Ports Directorate for this achievement.
This came as Shaikh Hisham received Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Dosari, Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search, and Follow-Up. Shaikh Hisham attributed the achievement to the development and modernisation strategy of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
He emphasised on the importance of continuing to develop the skills of its employees by providing specialised courses and benefiting from international expertise.
