Gulf talks on future of economic and development fields

Dr. Khaled Fahad Al Alawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industry Development at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, participated in the fourth seminar of the Future Foresight in the Economic and Development Fields, held in Riyadh from August 29-31.
Present were Jassim Al Budaiwi, GCC General Secretariat Secretary-General, and 85 participants from 32 ministries, institutions, government agencies, research centers, universities, the private sector, and chambers of commerce in the region.
In the working paper, Dr. Al Alawi affirmed the determination of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop the promising sectors, one of which is the industrial sector, in addition to promoting Gulf products on regional and global platforms.
The fourth-panel discussion to explore future prospects for the joint Gulf economic and development integration reviewed 18 working papers specialised in foreseeing the future submitted by the participating entities.
