Strong Bahrain-UAE strategic ties hailed

The Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE are keen to further strengthen long-standing fraternal relations and cooperation across various fields. This was emphasised by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa as he praised the two countries’ bilateral and strategic ties.
He noted the advanced level of diplomatic cooperation under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed was speaking while meeting a UAE State Minister at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar.
Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs Dr. Mohammed Ali Behzad and Bahrain Ambassador to the UAE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa also attended the event. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed praised the leaders of the two countries governments, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to further bolster strategic partnership and adopt sound policies that support GCC, Arab and Islamic causes as well as international solidarity, global peace, security, tolerance, and sustainable development.
Adressed the session, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed stressed his confidence that the UAE would succeed in hosting the upcoming 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
UAE State Minister Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar also hailed strong bilateral ties based on mutual respect, steadily-growing ties and joint commitment to supporting security, stability and the settlement of regional and international conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy for peace and prosperity to reign in the region and the world.
