Golden Jubilee celebration marks a ‘milestone’ in BTV history, says Al Dosari

The 50th-anniversary celebrations of television broadcasting represent a significant milestone in the history of Bahrain Television (BTV), Qais Al Dosari, Director of Bahrain Television said.

Bahrain Television remained committed to its role as a national media platform, which continues to adhere to professional values and keep abreast of developments while succeeding in maintaining its national identity, he added.

Al Dosari attributed BTV’s success to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who believes in the role of media as a key partner in the national development process, as well as to the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He expressed his gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for HRH’s visit to the Ministry of Information and inauguration of the main studio at the News Centre and the private radio stations building, praising HRH’s keenness to further develop the media sector in Bahrain.

Al Dosari expressed his pride, and that of all BTV employees, in the support they receive, affirming that these new facilities represent a significant advancement in the kingdom’s media sector.
