HM King Hamad praises HRH Prince Salman for key role in serving Bahrain and its citizens

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his role in serving the kingdom and consolidating its global leadership and competitiveness in all fields.

HM the King also hailed HRH Prince Salman’s diligent efforts to develop the government work, advance various development sectors, and adopt initiatives and strategies to achieve more gains that benefit the nation and the citizens.

His Majesty commended the various vital projects that are being implemented in the kingdom in various sectors. HM King Hamad made the statements as he received HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister at Al Safriya Palace yesterday.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of HM the King, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and Lieutenant General Thiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of BDF.

They discussed local topics aiming to advance the comprehensive development process in the kingdom.

Continuous progress

His Majesty commended the continuous progress witnessed by various BDF branches and units, thanks to their provision with the latest military systems and adoption of the best methods of practical and theoretical training.

“The BDF affiliates have always proved their high competence and bravery in various tasks assigned to them. They have been, and will always be worthy of our continuous trust and appreciation,” HM the King said.

HM the King expressed his pride in the honourable international achievements of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, citing his winning the title of the Monpazier Endurance Championship in France.

HM the King also hailed the first external participation of HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the endurance race in France, paying tribute to the Royal Endurance Team for clinching first place in the World Junior and Youth Championships at the team level in Castelsagrat, France.

On the occasion of the new academic year, HM King Hamad expressed his sincere wishes for success to all students and administrative and educational cadres in universities, as well as public and private schools and institutes, appreciating the national efforts of the Ministry of Education and all educational institutions.
