Sri Lanka Fest opens in Bahrain

The Sri Lanka Fest is a vibrant event in Bahrain, showcasing the best of Sri Lankan produce and food items.
The festival, taking place at Lulu Hypermarket in Juffair from September 7–13, offers a variety of products, including fresh vegetables, fruits, spices, Ceylon tea, Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, and pepper.
Additionally, healthy and organic coconut products will be available. The event was inaugurated by Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain, HE Reethisri Wijeratne Mendis, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry's acting CEO, Atef Mohamed Al Kaja, was the chief guest.
The festival also features Sri Lankan cuisine prepared by expert chefs, offering a variety of dishes from traditional to modern fusion cuisine.
Additionally, cultural performances by children from the Sri Lankan community in Bahrain will add to the festivities.
