Bahrain holds workshop on latest diabetes treatment

The Bahrain Diabetes Association has conducted a workshop focused on the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
The workshop was held under the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Diabetes Association.
The aim of the workshop was to highlight the latest developments in diabetes treatment and address the significant health challenges posed by the prevalence of diabetes in Bahrain and around the world.
The workshop emphasised the importance of following evidence-based medical directives and continually updating knowledge to ensure the best treatments for people with diabetes.
The training program was accredited by the International Diabetes Federation, and it targeted health sector workers in both the public and private sectors. The workshop is part of a series of workshops that will be organised every three months, focusing on various aspects of preventive and therapeutic care for type 2 diabetes.
