The guidance programme for new students kicked off at the University of Bahrain (UoB) yesterday. About 1,000 new students reported to the UoB, where they toured various colleges and facilities.
UoB President Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari welcomed the new students, wishing them a successful academic year, and calling on them to work hard in order to achieve their aspirations for distinction and excellence.
Al Ansari toured UoB colleges, and was informed about the progress of the guidance programme, commending the efforts exerted by the organisers to advise students and answer their queries.
The guidance programme aims to prepare new students psychologically, educationally, and socially before the start of the academic year. The organisers of the programme introduce students to their colleges, departments and academic programmes.
