Bahrain's High Civil Court has ordered the heirs of two commercial shops' deceased owners to pay BD15,000 in overdue rent.
The court also ordered the eviction of the tenants and the return of the shops in their original condition.
The plaintiff filed a lawsuit seeking the eviction of the tenants and the return of the shops in their original condition.
The defendants were ordered to pay BD6,525 for one shop and BD8,196 for the other.
The plaintiff claimed to have entered into a lease agreement with the defendants, allowing them to use the shops at the Manama Central Market.
However, the heirs continued to use the shops until the original tenant's death, resulting in a debt of BD6,525 for one shop and BD8,196 for the other.
The court ordered them to be expelled from the shops and settle the overdue amount.
