Bahrain King orders urgent humanitarian relief aid to Libya

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued directives to dispatch urgent humanitarian relief aid to Libya following the floods that swept the northeastern region in Libya, which led to thousands of casualties, injured and missing people.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of condolences to the President of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, HE Mohamed Al Mnefi, over this calamity.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister offered his sincere condolences to the President of the Presidential Council of Libya, the relatives of the victims, and the people of Libya, and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
He affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support and solidarity with Libya in overcoming this natural disaster. HM King Hamad directed His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to help provide the necessary assistance to victims of floods and torrents in Libya.
