BRCS calls for donations to help Moroccan quake victims

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has announced the opening of donations to the general public, including Bahraini companies, citizens, and residents, who wish to support the victims of the Moroccan earthquake.

The society is urging people to provide material donations and urgent relief assistance to those affected by the disaster.

They are calling upon everyone to participate in this civil campaign by donating both monetary and in-kind contributions to the BRCS.

The society emphasises the strong sense of humanity, responsibility, and compassion that the citizens, residents, and institutions in Bahrain possess towards their sisterly afflicted peoples.

They assure that all organisational capabilities and experience, accumulated over more than 50 years in the field of relief and humanitarian work, will be harnessed to ensure the effective delivery of donations to the actual beneficiaries in Morocco.

BRCS Secretary General Mubarak Al Hadi stated that this donation campaign reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support and solidarity with its brothers in the Arab world during this critical humanitarian situation in Morocco.

He emphasised the prompt response of the society in reaching out for support.

He urged all citizens, residents, institutions, and companies in Bahrain to proactively contribute to helping those impacted by the earthquake in Morocco.

The campaign is part of the BRCS’s response to the emergency humanitarian appeal to address the urgent needs in Morocco.

To contribute, financial donations can be made to the Bahrain Red Crescent Society’s bank account with IBAN No. BH71NBOB00000099071185.

Alternatively, donations can be made through the "Benefit Pay" application using the mobile number 39051933.

Donors also have the option to visit the society’s headquarters in the Diplomatic Area to make payments in cash, cheques, direct debit cards, or credit cards. For further information, interested individuals can contact the society at 17293171.
