Bahrain values media sector’s progress

Bahrain continues the development process and pays utmost attention to the media sector because of its vital role in highlighting national achievements.

This was affirmed by Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam as he received Dr. Nasser Al Hatlan Al Qahtani, Director-General of the Arab Organisation for Administrative Development (ARADO), on the occasion of the first Arab Forum for Parliamentary Media, themed “Parliamentary Media and Digitisation... Opportunities and Challenges.”

The Speaker affirmed that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and thanks to the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Kingdom’s media sector continues its role as key partner in nation’s progress.

He praised parliamentary media’s efforts in supporting the work of legislative councils, and the interest of those in charge of activating communication between councils and public opinion, through advanced and modern digital parliamentary media, which performs its role with all professionalism and credibility.

Al Musallam appreciated the ARADO’s efforts in organising events that contribute to developing work and enhancing Arab cooperation in many fields and sectors. Dr. Al Qahtani praised Bahrain’s continuous progress in many fields and expressed his appreciation for the Representatives Council for its support and continued cooperation.
