Malaysian community in Bahrain celebrates Independence Day

The Malaysian community in Bahrain celebrated the country’s 66th Independence Day with a colourful event at the Wyndham Grand Hotel.
The event was held under the patronage of Malaysian Ambassador to Bahrain Shazryll Zahiran, and the chief guest was H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his speech, Ambassador Shazryll highlighted the strong relations between Malaysia and Bahrain, which have been growing for over 49 years.
The event was attended by a large number of Malaysians and Bahrainis, as well as representatives from the diplomatic corps and business community. It was a festive occasion that celebrated the rich culture and heritage of Malaysia.
