Bahrain empowers youth in technological sector

Dr. Bassam Ismail Al Bin Mohammed, head of the Parliamentary Division of Bahrain delegation, highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts in empowering youth in the fields of technology and digital transformation.
This came as Dr. Mohammed participated in the ninth World Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Vietnam.
He emphasised the importance of protecting young people from the negative impacts of technology and artificial intelligence in the labour market, while also acknowledging the benefits of technological development in achieving sustainable development goals.
The conference provides a platform for young parliamentarians worldwide to discuss measures to enhance youth’s role in accelerating the achievement of these goals through digital transformation, innovation, and cultural values.
