The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has sent a shipment of humanitarian relief aid to the victims of floods in Libya. This act of generosity is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the honorary president of RHF.

The aid aims to alleviate the suffering caused by the devastating disaster that has befallen Libya. RHF Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed praised the leadership of HM King Hamad and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, for their unwavering commitment to humanitarian work.

In line with the strong bond between Bahrain and Libya, the foundation has prepared 40 tons of medical and food supplies, as well as relief and shelter materials. This initiative aims to meet the basic and essential needs of the affected population and alleviate their suffering during these challenging times.

The foundation’s delegation, accompanied by the aid shipment, was warmly received by Mr. Al Zubair Hamad Al Gharyani, the representative of the Libyan Red Crescent, upon their arrival at Benina International Airport in Benghazi. Al Gharyani expressed the thanks and appreciation of Libya and its people for Bahrain’s generosity.
