The Cabinet expressed its pride in the dedicated efforts of Bahrain’s workforce in the tourism sector and its supporting sectors. These industries include transportation, hospitality, restaurants, retail, entertainment and exhibition centres, culture, and conferences.

This comes as the Kingdom joins the international community in celebrating the World Tourism Day. The global event is celebrated each year on September 27 to spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its impact on our society.

The Cabinet, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, extended its congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to Bahrain’s citizens and residents, and to the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) date of birth.
