Bahrain-Saudi historical ties hailed

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani praised the historical ties and strategic partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The minister highlighted the progress and prosperity witnessed by the bilateral relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Dr. Al Zayani appreciated Saudi Arabia’s strategic depth, leadership role in regional and global security, peace, prosperity, and combating extremism and terrorism.
He praised the role of Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, jointly chaired by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The minister hailed the council’s six subcommittees for their efforts in enhancing coordination across political, security, economic, cultural, media, tourism, social, investment, and environmental sectors.
Dr. Al Zayani emphasised Bahrain’s support for Saudi Arabia and its efforts to maintain regional security and stability, and wished Saudi Arabia and its people further progress and prosperity.
He emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to peaceful conflict resolution, including the Palestinian cause, and the Yemeni crisis. The minister affirmed that Bahrain also supports economic unity, joint defense, and security systems, and endorses Saudi diplomatic initiatives.
