Royal salute to BDF soldiers killed while defending Saudi borders

The Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) mourned its two brave officers who lost their lives yesterday morning while defending the southern borders of Saudi Arabia as part of the Arab coalition forces.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received the bodies of the fallen servicemen, Lieutenant Mubarak Hashel Zayed Al Kubaisi and Corporal Yaqoub Rahmat Moulai Mohammed.
The bodies of the fallen servicemen arrived at the Isa Air Base on board a Royal Bahraini Air Force military aircraft.
A military ceremony was conducted.
Present were Shaikh Abdullah bin Salman Al Khalifa, Head of the Military Office of His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hasan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff; and senior BDF officers.
The Commander-in-Chief conveyed the condolences of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the families of the fallen servicemen and their wishes of speedy recovery to the injured.
The Commander-in-Chief also extended his condolences to the families, to all BDF personnel, and to the people of Bahrain on this loss.
He expressed his appreciation for the fallen servicemen who honourably stood by their fellow servicemen in the Joint Arab Coalition to defend the southern borders of Saudi Arabia as part of the operations Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope.
The servicemen lost their lives in a treacherous terrorist attack carried out by the Houthis using unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) that targeted sites of Bahraini forces stationed along the southern borders of Saudi Arabia, in spite of the halt of military operations by all sides.
Several others were wounded in a terrorist unmanned attack carried out by the Houthis, who used unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs). These attacks targeted the Bahraini taskforce stationed in the southern region, specifically along the borders of Saudi Arabia, despite the cessation of military operations in Yemen.
The fallen soldiers were part of the Arab coalition forces in Operation Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope. The BDF expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the heroic martyrs. It also wished the wounded personnel a speedy recovery.
A plane with a medical crew has been sent to evacuate the wounded and fallen servicemen back to Bahrain. The US Embassy in Manama extended its heartfelt condolences to the families and colleagues of the BDF personnel who lost their lives and wished those who were injured a rapid recovery.
