Royal praise and flood of condolences for BDF’s two fallen servicemen

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, commended the Bahrain Defence Force’s fallen servicemen for demonstrating the most profound example of heroism and loyalty, following the path of honourable ancestors.

This came as HM the King visited yesterday the BDF General Command. The senior officers extended their sincere condolences to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces over the loss of the two fallen servicemen of the BDF’s taskforce, First-Lieutenant Mubarak Hashel Al Kubaisi, and Corporal Yaqoub Rahmat Moulai Mohammed, while performing their duty in defending the southern borders of Saudi Arabia as part of the Arab Coalition forces participating in Operation Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope.

His Majesty expressed appreciation to countries which have extended their condolences and affirmed solidarity against this act of aggression. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the two fallen servicemen in eternal peace, grant their families patience and solace and the injured a speedy recovery.

HM King Hamad expressed his appreciation for and pride in all the brave members of the BDF for their constant keenness to carry out their lofty national duties with courage and sincere determination.

His Majesty commended the BDF’s procedures and services to repatriate the bodies of the fallen servicemen and the injured. He also praised the role of the Royal Medical Services in providing medical care for the injured.

Upon arrival, HM the King was welcomed by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Force, Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs and senior BDF staff.

Sympathy to the families

His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received at Al Safriya Palace the families of the two fallen servicemen. He offered profound condolences and sympathy to the families, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest their souls in eternal peace and bless their relatives with patience and fortitude.

He also wished the wounded a speedy recovery. The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces prayed mercy and forgiveness for all fallen servicemen who lost their lives while defending the nation bravely and valiantly.

“Every fallen serviceman from those heroes is a member of every Bahraini family,” HM the King said, adding that “the families of the late BDF personnel have set the best examples of patriotism and fortitude.”

His Majesty expressed thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for delivering emergency medical care to those injured in the act of aggression. The families of the two fallen servicemen extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM the King for offering them condolences and sympathy, wishing HM the King abundant health and long life.
They also expressed pride in their sons who fell in the line of duty.

Sacrifices

HM King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, received cables of condolences from senior officials in the Kingdom.

They noted the sacrifices of the fallen servicemen, who will always be remembered and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Condolences came from the following:

Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, of the BDF, Commander of the National Guard, His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), HE Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Patience and solace

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, and Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Representatives Council, condoled with His Majesty and HRH Prince Salman.

Shura Chairman Al Saleh and Speaker Al Musallam also condoled with BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the fallen servicemen in eternal peace, give their families patience and solace and for the injured a speedy recovery.

They affirmed that the sincere national sacrifices of the heroic BDF men will be immortal in the nation’s memory, embodying the highest forms of giving, redemption, and sacrifice, and reflecting the values of loyalty and belonging held by the righteous men of Bahrain, as they sacrificed their lives to protect the nation’s interests.

Qatar, Kuwait condolences

His Majesty King Hamad received a phone call from His Highness Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar. HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad offered sincere condolences and sympathy to HM the King over the loss of the BDF soldiers, and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.

HM the King and HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad discussed the fraternal relations between the two countries, and ways to further strengthen them, within the framework of the strong ties binding them.

They also affirmed determination to carry on strengthening the existing bilateral cooperation across various fields to meet the two peoples’ aspirations. HRH Prince Salman received a telephone call from the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

During the telephone call, HH Shaikh Ahmad extended his condolences for the two fallen BDF servicemen, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

In return, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his gratitude for HH Shaikh Ahmad’s heartfelt condolences.

Martyrs of duty

MP Maryam Al Dhaen confirmed that the martyrs of duty took the highest form of sacrifice and loyalty, and that the bloodshed of the brutal attack was recorded in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The sad news had a profound impact on the Kingdom. She said: “We ask God to mercy the innocent martyrs, to mercy them with his brightest mercy, to live them with his martyrs, friends and elders, to inspire their loved ones to patience and patience, and to secure the immediate recovery of the wounded and the wounded.”

The Arab Observatory for Human Rights (AOHR) Board of Trustees condoled with His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman, the BDF and the people of Bahrain. AOHR Board of Trustees mourned the fallen servicemen, who sacrificed their lives in defence of the Arabic and Islamic nation, praying to Allah Almighty to rest their souls in eternal peace.

Arab League condemnation

Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, mourned the two Bahraini soldiers’ death. He wished a speedy recovery for the injured, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the fallen servicemen in eternal peace, give their families patience and solace and for the injured a speedy recovery.

A statement from the Arab League said yesterday that Aboul Gheit condemned the continuation of the treacherous Houthi attacks despite the legitimate government’s commitment to the truce and ceasefire, holding the Houthi responsible for the continued suffering of Yemenis, which persists in rejecting all calls for peace and insists on continuing the approach of violence and sabotage.
