Bahrain keen to boost Egypt ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighted the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt.

He noted the commitment of both His Majesty King Ham[1]ad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in bolstering bilateral relations and cross-sector cooperation to benefit all.

HRH Prince Salman made the statements as he received yesterday the outgoing Ambassador of Egypt, HE Yasser Mohammed Shaban, at Gudaibiya Palace, to mark the end of his tenure in the Kingdom.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the Ambassador’s efforts in advancing the strategic partnership to achieve joint aspirations.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended best wishes to Ambassador Shaban in his future endeavours. During the meeting, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were discussed.

Ambassador Shaban expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, noting HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Egypt relations. He wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
