Bahrain minister opens new park in Barbar

The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to sustainable development goals and its alignment with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The Ministry is actively working on initiatives and projects to develop parks, enhance agricultural and afforestation work, and expand green areas.
The opening of Barbar Park in Block 526 was celebrated with various officials present, including Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs.
The park aims to provide integrated entertainment facilities and promote a healthy lifestyle by establishing gardens, parks, and recreational places throughout the Kingdom.
It covers a total area of 8,484.5 square metres and features shaded family seating, service buildings, parking lots, and facilities for people with disabilities.
