Royal call for cooperation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has emphasised the need to strengthen cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities to fulfill the Kingdom of Bahrain’s goals and aspirations.

HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of the address given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the opening ceremony of the second session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, which was held under HM the King’s patronage.

The address outlined His Majesty’s visions for the next phase of the Kingdom’s development and national contributions. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the efforts of the legislative authority in supporting the Kingdom’s development.

He wished success for the legislative authority, expressing his aspirations that the second session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives will add to the Kingdom’s development achievements.

His Royal Highness noted the role of Team Bahrain in supporting the visions of HM the King and in furthering accomplishments that will benefit all.

Commitment

Speaker Al Musallam and Chairman Al Saleh expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities.

They affirmed their commitment to serving the Kingdom and its citizens. The Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, along with other senior officials, also attended the meeting.
