HH Shaikh Nasser orders formation of national committee to process aid to Gaza

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has directed the formation of a national committee comprising government entities and charity and professional associations to help Palestinians affected by the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

It is in line with the royal directives to organise a national campaign to provide humanitarian relief aid to the Palestinians. HH Shaikh Nasser said that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has always been supportive of countries undergoing various circumstances.

His Highness extended his thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his stances and the support received by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) from the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Nasser said that the National Committee for the Support of the Palestinians in Gaza will unify efforts to provide humanitarian aid urgently after assessing the requirements. He assigned Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General of RHF, as the chief executive of this committee.

Al Sayed said that the committee is preparing to hold a meeting and will launch initiatives and efforts to support the people of Gaza, in reflection of the firm stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain towards the Palestinian cause.
