Bahrain and Egypt discuss efforts for regional peace

Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, yesterday held a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.
The two ministers discussed Bahraini-Egyptian relations and exchanged views on the ongoing events in the Gaza Strip and efforts at deescalating the situation, protecting civilians, and opening safe corridors to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
They also discussed supporting efforts aimed at achieving permanent peace in the region and establishing a Palestinian state based on the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions.
