Bahrain Industry Minister pushes for more attractive and flexible commercial environment

Industry and Commerce Minister Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro has emphasised the importance of facilitating business and commercial activities in Bahrain through regulatory development and streamlined procedures.

He said that this will enhance the quality and efficiency of government services, making the commercial environment more attractive and flexible for companies.

It will also encourage investment, ultimately improving the competitiveness of the national economy, he added.

The Minister was speaking as he participated in a luncheon organised by the Rotary Club of Manama, attended by prominent figures and businessmen dedicated to strengthening the economic and industrial environment in Bahrain.

Fakhro highlighted the Ministry’s efforts to advance economic development in Bahrain and achieve growth and prosperity in line with the industrial sector strategy (2022-2026).

He emphasised the importance of supporting small and medium-sized companies, which constitute the majority of the economic sector.

The Ministry aims to provide a favorable environment for their growth and development, thereby supporting the industrial and commercial sectors in the country.

Renuka Ravindan, President of the Rotary Club of Manama, expressed gratitude to the Minister and the Ministry for their continuous efforts in strengthening Bahrain’s economic environment.

She emphasized the club’s commitment to supporting the initiatives of the industrial sector strategy (2022-2026) to achieve the desired goals for the benefit of all.
