Two more warehouses for Sitra Industrial Park

Two more warehouses are set to be constructed at the Sitra Industrial Park, further enhancing Bahrain’s potential as a highly integrated logistics hub.
The tender board has awarded the ten-month project to the Poullaides Construction Company, which secured the contract competing against 18 companies, both regional and international.
The initial bids ranged from BHD 3,447,357.480 to BHD 2,345,000.000, with the board awarding the contract BD 60,988.506.
According to Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah), the Sitra Industrial Park spans 87,382 square meters and currently comprises four existing facilities, with plans for two new covered facilities and dry storage plots designated for industrial, commercial, and logistical purposes.
Earlier this year, Edamah announced its intention to expand the park by an additional 8,000 square meters of industrial space.
Reportedly, the park’s largest customer will be Trident Warehousing, which has inked a 10-year lease agreement covering 8,137 square meters.
