Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award fourth edition announced

The fourth edition of the late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award is organized by Al Noor Charity Welfare under the patronage of Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Honorary Chairperson of the Al Noor Charity Welfare. 

Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairperson of Al Noor Charity Welfare and Head of the Award Permanent Committee, affirmed the success of the previous editions of the award and the public demand. 

The award for both genders includes four categories. The first is memorising the whole Holy Quran (from Surah Al-Baqarah to Surah An-Nas) for Bahrainis and residents regardless of their age. The second is memorising ten parts of the Quran (from Surah Al-Ankabut to Surah An-Nas) for Bahrainis only regardless of their age.

The third category is memorising one-tenth of the Quran (from Surah Al-Mujadila to Surah An-Nas) for Bahrainis aged up to 15 years old, while the fourth category is memorizing Amma part of the Quran for Baraem Al-Quran (Children of Quran) for Bahrainis up to 10 years old.

The contest is open for registration through its website until December 7.

The contest will start in the last week of January 2024.

The final ten qualifiers will be chosen on the second week of Ramadan as scheduled in the contest timeline.
