HM King Hamad returns from successful UAE visit

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday returned to Bahrain following a visit to the UAE, where he met His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler.
HM the King and the UAE leaders reviewed the long-standing solid Bahrain-UAE relations and ways to enhance them across various fields. They also discussed the latest regional and global developments. HM King Hamad also led the kingdom’s delegation to the Riyadh Summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN), hosted by Saudi Arabia.
HM the King also chaired Bahrain’s delegation at the Cairo Summit for Peace, which was devoted to discussing the latest developments and the future of the Palestinian cause, as well as the peace process. HM King Hamad also visited the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Vatican.
